Millions of Dead Chickenheads w/ Scary Ellen - Thu Feb 28th, 2019

One listener's self-maintained archive project. It is by no means a complete archive. I can only take on so much. This is a highly subjective best-attempt to preserve what I personally feel deserves preservation. That said, I'm always seeking new contributors for a better-rounded collection of WCSB's recent and distant past. The priority here is to save those shows that often fall between the cracks of WCSB's station archives from week to week, specifically overnight shows.

Tonight on the Millions of Dead Chickenheads radio show, we'll focus a laser light on some international music I just obtained. First, Horn & Hoof Records from Manchester England sent the new ep by Glue Ear called "Skate Pizza", we'll also get in some of the bands Shelley recently sent from Manchester like Burning Flag, Pizzatramp and the Natterers. And from the other side of the world, I finally got the latest album from veteran Chinese HC outfit Demerit called :Out of the Fog" - these guys are very fast and crossover sounding, just what we like at MDC! So we'll play a few cuts from them. Killer of Sheep's show last Friday was out of this world, we'll reprise some of their tunes including their LP on Taang! Records from a few years ago. Plus our usual roundup of locals and regionals we love, and a small tribute to a great local musician who was struck down way too young by cancer, Scott Schumacher from Schnauzer and Nunslaughter. Treasure the people in your scene, folks. All from 11pm to 1am EST on WCSB 89.3 fm in the CLE area and wcsb.org livestreaming around the world.
